7. go see a movie on the day that it comes to theatres

on nov. 3, 2006, hank and i went to the savoy theatre by the house and saw borat. it was PACKED! there were even old people in there! it probably made the movie more enjoyable, because you just can't beat the roar of a crowd as two fake kazakstan journalists fight all over a hotel naked. probably if we'd seen the movie when it came to ondemand like we usually do, it would not have been as funny in our living room. from now on, if there's something i really want to see, i'm going to not be a cheapass about it and just go to the theatre and pay full price. well, okay, not really full price by time you figure i'll keep lying about being a student and that i sneak in soda and candy in my purse.
